for the sake of the cake🍰
I saw someone who I thought was part of a cartel when I was taking my stepfather somewhere. I immediately told my stepfather that the guy looked like he was part of a cartel. He was wearing a Medellín Cartel shirt. I suspected he might have been one of their associates. He was riding recklessly and wearing black clothes. He also looked rough and unkempt, with dark, reddish skin from sun exposure.
Thankfully, we were behind him, and I kept my distance because I was afraid he might notice us. However, we continued riding behind him because we happened to be heading in the same direction. When we reached the traffic light at the end of the road, he disappeared into the crowd. I saw someone wearing dark clothes who looked similar to him, but I wasn't sure it was the same person.
Because my mom asked me to buy some cake with my stepfather. I was already hesitant to take that road because it has a bad reputation and is known for having a lot of dangerous people. Sure enough, as we were about to pass a car, the driver suddenly accelerated toward us. I immediately felt dizzy and shocked when I saw the car speeding up because I realized that if I had kept moving forward, I could have been crushed between the car and a roadwork pole.
I hit the brakes, but because I was dizzy and startled, I lost control of the motorcycle. It swerved to the right, and both my stepfather and I fell off. I felt weak and shaken. The throttle was still being pulled, and my knee ended up scraping against the asphalt, leaving it bleeding.
My 75-year-old stepdad fell and got pinned under the motorcycle, but I managed to hold the motorcycle up while I was being dragged along with it. That’s why my knee ended up scraped and bleeding like that.
But that cake really is delicious.
